ATTA RAINFOREST LODGE

Nestled in the Iwokrama Rainforest 500 meters away from the Canopy Walkway is the Atta Lodge. It is completely surrounded by tropical forest which creates a beautiful getaway for naturalists or casual outdoor enthusiasts.

The facilities consist of two living quarters. In each
of the accommodation buildings there are hooks for one hammock per room (fully equipped with nets to prevent mosquito bites).

All food preparation and dining is done in the main building which has full view of the gardens and the imposing forest. The Parrot-A-Fly Bar -also located in the main building- is stocked with local and imported beverages (beer, wine and spirits).

All meals are freshly prepared at the Lodge and can
be tailored to your liking as long as notice is given
beforehand. Without notice, meals normally consist of
local Guyanese cuisine and preparation can be observed if you find yourself so inclined.

There are four individual bathrooms situated between
the two sleeping quarters, each having its own shower, flushable toilet and sink. The bathrooms, as with everything else at the Atta Lodge, were built with the environment in mind and so the showers do not have floor-to-ceiling walls. The walls stop at eye level to allow ventilation and to provide a view of the lush nature around you.
