Pre-eminent among the three hundred and little paradise with
187 acres of lush green foliage and colourful tropical
flowers. Five miles South of Bartica, it is the gateway to
the unspoilt rainforest of Guyana and the junction where the
great Essequibo and Mazaruni Rivers The Resort has a 17 room capacity, with 13 self-contained superior rooms and 4 standard rooms. Additionally, the resort houses a modern conference facility with a 60 seat capacity and an additional gazebo that can accommodate up to 20 persons |

You could
enjoy a 20-minute flight directly to the island from Georgetown or a picturesque trip of a one-hour drive along the coast and one hour by boat from the mouth of the Essequibo. At Baganara Island Resort we offer a variety of other outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, water skiing, kayaking, volleyball, table tennis, pools, banana boats, pedal boats or simply sunbathing and swimming. You can answer the call of the wild along our jungle walk, where you'll find many different species of flora and fauna. |
